June 1 marked the start of the hurricane season, and according to experts, conditions are right for an active six months on the Atlantic Ocean. The Colorado State University forecast team recently predicted fifteen named storms for this season, which lasts through November 30. They predict four of those storms will become hurricanes, with an above average possibility of at least one hitting the United States coastline. |
